WaterSHED hosts Nepal delegation visit to Cambodia

On 23 May, WaterSHED and Plan International hosted a Global Sanitation Fund (GSF) learning exchange in Kampong Cham Province Cambodia for Nepalese government officials and representatives of NGOs working in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector in Nepal. WaterSHED is a member of the national coordinating mechanism of the GSF in Cambodia, and the field visit served as an opportunity for Nepal’s GSF partners to see WaterSHED’s innovative ‘Hands-off’ sanitation marketing program in action. The field visit provided participants with the opportunity to experience a sanitation marketing sales event and discuss the program with local officials, village leaders, sanitation enterprises and household latrine consumers, with the goal of learning how to replicate the ‘Hands-Off’ model in Nepal.
