Selling Toilets in Cambodia: WaterSHED Style
Jay Graham, Associate Professor from the School of Public Health at George Washington University School, visited Cambodia this week and filmed a short video about a community-level toilet sales event. It shows a local sales agent in Kampong Speu going through 9 steps in a presentation, which resulted in sales to about half of the audience. WaterSHED-supported enterprises under the Hands-Off program are currently conducting many events like this every day, across six rural provinces.
Today’s one-hour event resulted in thirteen toilets sold and roughly twenty dollars commission for the sales agent!
